1 · ACCEPTANCE AND ELIGIBILITY

By accessing or using StarTether, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use StarTether for a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2 · INDEPENDENT SERVICE

StarTether is an independent resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Starlink or SpaceX. Starlink service, equipment, billing, activation, warranties, and official support remain subject to the terms of their respective providers.

3 · INFORMATIONAL AND DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS

System Checks, alignment tools, obstruction guidance, calculators, Field Guides, and recommendations are informational aids. Results may be affected by the phone, local network, test provider, environment, permissions, and equipment. They are not guarantees of service quality, safety, installation suitability, or provider performance.

Some speed measurements use Measurement Lab. Its own notices and privacy practices apply when that testing service is used.

4 · ACCOUNTS AND SAVED DATA

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify StarTether if you suspect unauthorized access. Saved systems, diagnostics, preferences, and other account records may be removed if an account is deleted, suspended, or required by law.

5 · INSTALLER DIRECTORY

Business listings are directory information supplied by businesses or administrators. StarTether does not employ, supervise, warrant, or guarantee listed installers. Customers must independently confirm pricing, licensing, insurance, credentials, availability, scope, and suitability before hiring. Transactions and services are between the customer and installer.

Quote requests and estimates are informational communications, not contracts or guarantees. StarTether limits simultaneous active requests to reduce spam. Each installer-response and customer-decision window lasts seven days. Accepted and denied quotes are removed seven days after the decision. Private account messaging is available to the customer and business while a pending, accepted, or denied quote remains active, until its displayed expiry deadline. After acceptance, the business may close the quote early; closing permanently removes the quote and its messages for both participants. Messages must be used lawfully for that project.

6 · STARTETHER BUSINESS

A StarTether Business subscription allows an eligible account to publish and manage one professional installer listing. The service includes listing management, coverage and service details, media, contact links, quote-request tools, and available listing analytics across the connected StarTether website and app.

Listings may be rejected, returned for correction, suspended, or removed for inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, unsafe, incomplete, or policy-violating content. Publication does not constitute an endorsement and does not guarantee directory rank, leads, revenue, or customer selection.

7 · PRICING, RENEWAL, AND CANCELLATION

StarTether Business costs $15 USD per month or $100 USD per year unless a different promotional price is clearly shown before checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until canceled.

You may cancel future renewal through the Stripe customer portal available from your StarTether Business account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and access normally continues through that date. Deleting the app, abandoning a listing, or removing listing content does not by itself cancel a subscription.

8 · FULFILLMENT AND AUTOMATIC PUBLICATION

After payment is confirmed and Business membership is active, a saved listing with a business name, contact name and email, services, and service coverage is automatically eligible for publication. No administrator review or approval is required first. Directory visibility and quote requests remain under the business owner’s control.

A subscription may begin before you finish the required listing details or while you choose to keep your listing hidden. StarTether administrators are notified when a new listing is published and may inspect, suspend, or remove listings afterward. Existing suspension or rejection decisions require administrator action to restore publication. Keep your account email current for account and listing communications.

9 · REFUNDS AND BILLING ERRORS

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing term begins. If you cancel, no further renewal will be charged and access continues through the paid term. This policy does not limit refund rights required by applicable law.

Contact StarTether promptly about duplicate charges, suspected unauthorized charges, or a payment made for a listing that StarTether permanently determines is ineligible and cannot reasonably be corrected. We will review the circumstances and issue any refund or credit required by law or approved in our discretion. Email support@startether.app or use the billing Contact form.

10 · USER CONTENT AND ACCEPTABLE USE

You retain ownership of business descriptions, logos, project photos, and other content you submit. You grant StarTether a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the directory.

You may not misuse StarTether, probe or disrupt its systems, upload malicious material, impersonate another party, submit content you do not have rights to use, scrape protected account data, or use the service for unlawful or deceptive conduct.

11 · INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

StarTether software, branding, layouts, original text, graphics, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms provide a limited, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose and do not transfer ownership.

12 · AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

Features may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13 · DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarTether is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or results. StarTether is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service, installer work, third-party platforms, or reliance on informational tools.

14 · TERMINATION

You may stop using StarTether at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, address security concerns, comply with law, or prevent misuse. Unless required by law or expressly approved, termination for a Terms violation does not create a right to a refund.

15 · GOVERNING LAW AND CONTACT
