How Much Does Professional Starlink Installation Cost?

Understand the parts of a professional installation that affect price, from mounting and cable routing to travel and optional equipment.

Compare the same job

An installation quote is useful only when you know what it includes. Keep four costs separate: the Starlink kit, the recurring service subscription, installation labor, and project materials or extras. Buying hardware does not automatically include a permanent mount or a professional installation.

Ask each installer to price the same dish location, indoor router position and cable route. A lower total may exclude the mount, a longer cable, difficult access or the final network setup.

An example itemized scope

Quote lineWhat to have written down
HardwareExact kit and who supplies it
MountModel, attachment surface and sealing method
CableCompatible length, measured route and entry point
LaborAccess equipment, installation, setup and testing
ExtrasTravel, removal, trenching, extra rooms or mesh
HandoverPhotos, test results and workmanship contact

This is a scope example, not a price estimate. Ask whether tax, travel and disposal are included and which charges recur. Travel policies belong to the individual installer; StarTether does not set a universal local radius or fee.

Before accepting a starting price

Send property photos and the complete address. Ask what conditions could change the quote, whether a site visit is needed, and how changes will be approved. For example, replacing a short wall route with a detached ground pole may add excavation, a longer cable and different mounting work.

Get changes priced before authorizing them. Keep the accepted scope and invoice so you can distinguish an equipment warranty claim from an installation issue later.
